Make an Impact at RSM UK
RSM UK Management Limited provides in-house payroll services for the RSM UK Group. Using Workday’s UK Payroll and other payroll software, we are responsible for internal payrolls currently totalling over 5,000 employees.
This is a pivotal role reporting to the National Finance Leadership team, accountable for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of premium service to our stakeholders now and into the future.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Aligning payroll operations with the broader organisational goals. They will focus on optimising processes, leveraging data for decision making, and proactively responding to compliance and risk management requirements
- Building strong and enduring relationships with stakeholders, with the ability to prioritise workloads and proactively manage expectations, leverage digital innovation, embrace advances in technology, and be an active problem solver to ensure the short-, medium-, and long-term success
- Overseeing Payroll Operations to ensure accurate and timely completion of monthly and annual payroll in accordance with the tax and regulatory frameworks
- Regular data led reporting is a prerequisite covering performance indicators, project updates and the usual statutory, tax and compliance reporting
What we are looking for:

- 3 years+ experience managing a payroll team
- Extensive working knowledge of Workday payroll software
- Superior stakeholder management, able to prioritise and manage deadlines. Providing clear communications that manage expectations
- Detailed practical knowledge of statutory & legislative regulations, including workplace pensions
- Dealing with high volume payrolls
- Professional payroll qualifications or demonstratable experience
- A thorough understanding of the technical, legislative and regulatory payroll matter
