Job Overview
The Workforce Solutions team are responsible for providing temporary staffing within the organisation.
The postholder will lead on the pay and data function. This includes the below:
- To be the first point of contact for Workforce Solutions staff in relation to queries about shifts, pay, annual leave and other entitlements.
- To assist in the ongoing training of managers and staff in the use of the shift allocation software.
- To collect and report on the staff usage data, and any other data required by the organisation.
This post has an expected start date of September 2025.
Main duties of the job
Below are some of the main duties of this role:
- To provide advice and information in relation to pay, employment terms & conditions and organisations policies & processes and systems (for example ESR/EASY expenses) and to direct staff to the appropriate source of more detailed information.
- To deal with specific queries from members of staff and managers, in person, by telephone or by email, resolving any discrepancies that arise including under or overpayments.
- To undertake administration to ensure Workforce Solutions staff are paid correctly for the shifts they have worked and receive other benefits to which they are entitled.

This role is to lead on the pay and data function within the Workforce Solutions team. This includes taking the lead on preparing payrolls, maintaining an accurate rostering system and producing data on usage of temporary staffing in Provide. Essential criteria
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience acquired through work
Desirable criteria
- Level 3 CIPD qualification
Experience
Essential criteria
- At least 1 year recent payroll experience
- Experience of using an integrated computerised HR and payroll system
- Current working knowledge of PAYE, NI and statutory benefits, including terms and conditions of employment.
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of Agenda For Change, & NHS pension scheme
- Experience of Bank Co-ordination or work in an Employment Agency or Recruitment function
