Company Description

Catch22 exists to help build a society where everyone has a good place to live, good people around them, and a fulfilling purpose. We call these our '3Ps'.

We achieve this in two ways. First, we improve lives on the frontline through delivery of public services. Secondly, we use our knowledge to change 'the system', to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help. With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda.

Job Description

The Hive is a leading youth support service, offering holistic mental health and wellbeing support to 16-24 year olds. We are looking for a passionate Youth Outreach & Engagement Coordinator to lead an exciting new outreach initiative, engaging marginalised young people and breaking down barriers to accessing support.

About The Role

  • Develop and deliver outreach initiatives to engage young people in high-risk or hard-to-reach communities.
  • Build partnerships with schools, youth groups, and local organisations.
  • Run workshops, focus groups, and assemblies to raise awareness of mental health and wellbeing services.
  • Support young people in accessing The Hive’s services, including sexual health, employment programmes, and social prescribing.
  • Monitor impact, track referrals, and report outcomes.

Qualifications

✔ Experience in youth work, outreach, or community engagement.

✔ Knowledge of challenges facing young people, particularly those from marginalised communities.

✔ Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

✔ Ability to deliver workshops and outreach sessions in diverse settings.

✔ Organised, proactive, and committed to supporting young people’s wellbeing.

Desirable: A qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, or a related field.
