Waldo Williams Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in our Nursery class.
This rewarding role will involve working closely with the class teacher and other staff to help a pupil access learning, develop essential skills, and make good progress in all areas of development.
Your Role Will Include
- Providing tailored support to meet the pupils individual needs
- Supporting the pupils learning through structured play, communication, and routines
- Promoting independence, confidence, and positive relationships
- Monitoring and recording progress in collaboration with the class teacher and ALNCO
- We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with young children, ideally in a 1:1 or additional needs capacity
- Is calm, patient, and nurturing, with a positive approach
- Understands how to support childrens early learning and development
- Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively with staff and families
