Description

We are seeking a Real Estate Intern to join our Corporate or Investment Banking team. This role requires a professional with a relevant degree, ideally with experience in structured lending within the property or hotel finance sectors. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented with strong competencies in financial modelling and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities are, but are not limited to:

Conduct detailed credit and risk analysis to support lending decisions
Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysis
Manage and maintain client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement
Execute transactions efficiently, adhering to all regulatory and internal guidelines
Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operation and effective service delivery
Stay updated with market trends and product knowledge to enhance service offerings

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Graduated within the past 18 months with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in corporate or investment banking, with a preference for those with structured lending experience in the property/hotel finance sectors

Required skills

• High level of attention to detail, resilience, and determination

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Advanced skills in credit and risk analysis, financial modelling, and transaction execution

• Strong client relationship skills and product knowledge

Technical skills required

• Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office and internet applications
