Your role
Are you interested in a career in AM? Would you like to experience working for a large scale and diversified asset manager with over a trillion dollars in invested assets. We’re looking for candidates who would like to experience working at UBS Asset Management for 12 months prior to returning to university for their final year of study.
At UBS Asset Management, you will join our global team of around 3,500 experts, working alongside portfolio managers and product specialists across traditional and alternative asset classes as well as client relationship managers, analysts and risk managers. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) function plays a pivotal role on all aspects of the operational landscape required to run the AM business. You would have the opportunity to
- Get to know our AM business stakeholders and client base, understand and help service our clients’ strategic objectives
- Manage the business management portfolio, including strategic projects, front to back control, regulatory initiatives and analyzing and resolving operational business issues
- Manage day to day BAU activities, problem solving, trouble shooting, issue management and communication with the business and technology partners
- Support the AM COO function in preparing key materials for project deliverables and governance forums as required
- Enhance business operational processes and perform strategic project work or tasks relevant to AM COO and the broader AM business

Your expertise
You should be completing the Industrial Placement program as part of your studies and then graduating in 2027. You should also be on track for a 21.
