Children and Young Person’s Physiotherapy Service
Band 5 CYP Physiotherapist
1.0 WTE, 37 hours, Permanent Post
Are you fun loving, dynamic, forward thinking and enjoy teamwork? If so come and join the CYP physiotherapy team in West Lothian.
- You will work within the CYP physiotherapy team, which delivers an acute and community service at St John’s Hospital and various sites across West Lothian.
- You will have a mixed caseload of CYP between the ages of birth and 19 years old with a wide variety of conditions. This may include severe and complex disabilities, neurological, neuromuscular, genetic, respiratory, orthopaedic, rheumatological and MSK conditions.
- Referrals come from a wide variety of sources with an emphasis on promoting self referrals at the time of need.
- You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings including but not limited to Children’s Ward in St John’s Hospital, outpatient clinics, hydrotherapy, multidisciplinary clinics, drop in clinics, child development centre, community settings, specialist education facilities, mainstream education facilities, respite centres and family homes.
- We offer protected CPD time and comprehensive training bespoke to your learning requirements to allow you to work with a varied caseload.
- You will be allocated a mentor to help you achieve your objectives, fulfil your Personal Development Plan and achieve your pillars of practice.
- We can offer flexible working hours. There are good transport links, some members of our team happily commute from either Edinburgh or Glasgow.
