Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care to patients/clients with Dementia and functional disorders. Carrying out planned work during the hours of duty and in response to a crisis situations, seeking appropriate assistance from medical and other staff as required. This will include appropriate liaison with other services and the collation/dissemination of appropriate information.
RMN Qualification.
Post registration experience in Older People Mental Health and acute mental health with experience of assessment of Dementia and Functional illness
A formal post registration qualification or equivalent experience desirable.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
