An exciting vacancy exists for a Chaplain at the National Church of England Academy, Hucknall. This is a permanent role, subject to successful completion of a probationary period.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and visionary individual (lay or ordained) who can support and develop the Christian ethos of this secondary church academy. The successful candidate will have proven ability to communicate and engage well with young people, guide sensitively their spiritual development and support them pastorally. They will be an excellent communicator, have relevant experience and be both a leader and a team player. They will also have a deep faith of their own, as an occupational requirement of the role, and be ‘the public face of God’ across the academy community.
Starting salary is £19,871 (0.5 of £39,742 Full-Time Equivalent) per annum plus a contribution of 10% of salary into a personal pension plan.
