We’re looking for an Account Based Marketing Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role for the business focused on driving targeted engagement within key accounts and fostering deeper relationships to accelerate pipeline growth.
Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, the successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and executing our ABM strategy, working closely with sales and other marketing teams to identify, attract, and convert high-value prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy:
- Develop, implement, and optimise a comprehensive ABM strategy aligned with overall business objectives and sales priorities.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritise target accounts based on ICP, market opportunity, and strategic importance.
- Conduct in-depth research on our ICP and target accounts, understanding their business challenges, strategic initiatives, and key decision-makers.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and refine approaches.
Campaigns:
- Design and execute personalised, multi-channel ABM campaigns across various touchpoints.
- Develop tailored content and messaging for target accounts.
- Orchestrate and manage the end-to-end ABM campaign lifecycle, from ideation to launch, optimisation, and reporting.
Alignment:
- Foster strong relationships with revenue leaders, serving as a trusted advisor to align sales and marketing towards achieving shared pipeline and revenue goals.
- Facilitate regular communication and feedback loops between marketing and sales to ensure process alignment and continuous improvement.
- Provide valuable insights, tools, and materials to support sales outreach and follow-up.
Measurement, analysis and optimisation:
- Define clear goals, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to measure success and demonstrate ROI.
- Track, analyse, and report on ABM campaign performance against defined KPIs, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Utilise marketing automation, CRM and ABM platforms to manage and optimise campaigns.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and personalisation.
Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Account-Based Marketing.
- Significant experience of dedicated ABM platforms (e.g. Demandbase, 6sense) is essential.
- Proven track record of successfully planning, executing, and measuring ABM programs that drive new business and expansion pipeline.
- Deep understanding of B2B sales cycles, buying groups and complex decision-making processes.
- Experience of mapping buyer journeys and tailoring campaigns by persona.
- Strong proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce).
- Working knowledge of AI-powered personalisation tools (e.g. Optimizely, Mutiny)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with sales and senior stakeholders.
- Highly analytical and data-driven, with a strong ability to translate data into actionable insights.
