The Opportunity

BLC is growing fast and we’re looking for an experienced Account Director to join our team and help develop and deliver outstanding nutritional products.


The Role

As an Account Director at BLC, you will be required to support with leading the client services team across both our branding & product services to deliver a variety of brand creation, product development and manufacturing projects for our clients.


You’ll draw from your experience in adept client management, strategy and project management to bring out the best of those around you while managing multiple projects and clients. The Account Director will also lead the development of BLC’s client portfolio with the goal of elevating the quality of our output and growing our client relationships.


Overall, we are looking for an experienced individual who loves to work as part of a team and is excited by the opportunities available in the nutrition industry.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key client contact and own long-term client relationships on a number of key client accounts
  • Support in leading BLC’s client services, project management, scoping/budgeting and evaluation
  • Ensure we are developing strong, long-term relationships and that we have a holistic understanding of our clients, their brands and goals
  • Work with the NPD and Operations teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, and to exceed client expectations every step of the way
  • Encourage and execute career planning throughout the client services team to ensure we attract, develop & retain the best talent – play a coaching and supportive role in building the team’s capability through regular performance management
  • Work to foster a collaborative culture between everyone at BLC


About you:

  • Positive and proactive with good time management
  • Developer of strong client relationships

  • Meticulous commercial management (quoting, billing, forecasting, etc)
  • Outstanding project manager
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output
  • Experienced pricing negotiator with clients
  • A natural contributor and creative problem solver


Your background:

  • Ideally at least 5 years professional experience in nutrition or cosmetics
  • Proven record managing projects efficiently, on-time and on-budget
  • Experience growing client accounts and proactively seeking business opportunities
  • Experience with project management and analysis
  • Managing a wide team and overseeing individual development
  • We’re looking for someone vibrant, ambitious and excited to work within nutrition industry.


Salary:

  • Negotiable on Experience
  • + Annual Performance Related Bonus

Schedule:

  • Flexitime 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Feel Good Friday hours 8am - 3pm or 9am to 4pm
  • Work From Home Wednesdays and Fridays
