Overview
Are you a strategic, buyer-led sales professional with a knack for closing high-value, multi-stakeholder deals at the C-suite level? We're seeking an Account Director to drive significant revenue growth within our Built Environment and broader Energy & Environment portfolios.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Buyer-Led Approach: Proactively engage with clients to understand their core business challenges and craft tailored, multi-channel solutions (digital advertising, event sponsorships, content partnerships) that deliver measurable outcomes.
- C-Suite & Multi-Stakeholder Deals: Develop and nurture impactful relationships with C-suite executives and navigate complex organisational structures to build relationships, create buy-in and close deals.
- Pipeline & Opportunity Management: Efficiently manage a robust sales pipeline, meticulously logging all activities and opportunity stages in Salesforce to ensure data integrity and transparent reporting.
- Commercial Acumen: Maintain a deep understanding of the Planning and Partnership sectors, leverage strong negotiation skills, and accurately forecast revenue to exceed targets.
Skills / Experience / Knowledge / Minimum Criteria
Essential:
You are a results-oriented and strategically-minded sales professional with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment. You are adept at identifying client needs and crafting sophisticated, buyer-led solutions.
- Demonstrable experience selling commercial solutions including advertising, demand generation, content solutions, and event sponsorships across all channels.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients immediately and build strong, lasting relationships.
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills, capable of managing and delivering complex campaigns efficiently.
- A high-performing sales person - efficient and exceptional at managing all stages of an opportunity through client and stakeholder activity.
- Growth mindset and target-orientated with the ability to meet and exceed OKRs, coupled with strong business acumen.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and a desire to be instrumental in business growth.
- Comfortable and effective when working under pressure.
Preferred:
- Knowledge or experience working in the public-private partnership (PPP) or town planning and built environment industry
