Account Director / Client Partner

Role Description

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Account Director/Client Partner to lead and grow our partnerships with major clients in the tech sector. This role requires a deep understanding of complex technical ecosystems and a passion for shaping ambitious, multi-disciplinary programs that deliver both creative impact and business value.

As the primary strategic partner to our clients, you will work to understand their products, platforms, and long-term vision—translating these into structured workstreams and integrated delivery plans. You’ll guide internal teams and external stakeholders with clarity, ensuring our programs are cohesive, scalable, and future-focused.

The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, technical translator, and strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset and a strong track record of building meaningful client partnerships in fast-paced, innovative environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead senior-level relationships with global tech clients, acting as a strategic advisor and ensuring long-term value and trust.

- Understand complex client ecosystems—platforms, products, roadmaps—and co-develop program structures that align with their business and technical goals.

- Shape and oversee integrated programs made up of multiple interdependent workstreams across design, engineering, research, and production.

- Collaborate closely with internal creative and technical teams to ensure project execution aligns with the client vision and our delivery standards.

- Identify opportunities for innovation and deeper collaboration—supporting client growth while evolving our agency’s role in their ecosystem.

- Provide clear direction and structure across teams, ensuring timely delivery, cross-functional alignment, and program-level visibility.

- Manage budgets, forecasting, and resource planning at an account and program level, ensuring financial health and operational efficiency.

- Deliver impactful presentations, program updates, and strategic recommendations to C-level stakeholders.

- Monitor tech and market trends to bring fresh insights and position the agency as a proactive, strategic partner.

Skills & Expertise

- Proven experience in account management or program leadership roles within creative, digital, or product-focused agencies, with a strong focus on tech clients.

- Understanding of the tech landscape—particularly product development cycles, platform thinking, and digital ecosystems.

- Experience managing large-scale, multi-stream programs with complex stakeholder environments.

- Strategic and commercially minded, with proven success in driving account growth, profitability, and long-term client satisfaction.

- Able to confidently engage with technical and creative leads, translating between business strategy, user needs, and implementation realities.

- Outstanding communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide both internal and external teams toward shared outcomes.

- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities—able to manage complexity without losing focus on detail.

- Passionate about innovation, emerging technologies, and the intersection of creativity and tech.
