THE ROLE:
The Account Executive plays a key role within the Spring client services team, supporting with the day-to-day management of your accounts / clients, co-ordinating internal meetings, resourcing teams, and helping manage the internal project workflow across departments. Culturally curious, with an appetite to learn, the Account Executive / Senior Account Executive should be hungry to build their understanding of the different skillsets and workflows involved in the development of brand/comms, from strategy and concept development to production, post-production and delivery. They should demonstrate strong organisational skills and attention to detail and be able to communicate clearly to both internal and client teams, building trust and rapport with day-to-day clients, and support the smooth end-to-end running of their projects / accounts.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build trust and rapport with day-to-day client stakeholders
- Ensure clear communication and be across the detail
- Proactively build your understanding of the clients’ business and objectives
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Effectively support the AM/AD with the day-to-day management of your accounts / clients
- Review client briefs, checking they are clear and concise
- Build an understanding of the different skillsets and workflows involved in the development of brand/comms, from strategy and concept development to production, post-production and delivery
- Co-ordinate internal meetings
- Ensure meeting rooms are booked and set up appropriately
- Help capture discussion points and drive any actions / next steps
- Manage and review client feedback, checking it is clear and concise
- Support AM/AD with managing the internal project workflow across departments
- Support AM/AD with co-ordinating internal project wash ups, to identify key learnings, and areas to optimise
- Take a lead on some smaller projects / briefs and demonstrate ability manage through with minimal support
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
- Support AM/AD with the operational management of your accounts / clients, demonstrating strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Support AM/AD with setting up "teams" channels, Dropbox file management, "Pitch" file management, and keeping account hubs up to date, including status trackers, project timelines, asset trackers, usage trackers etc.
- Support AM/AD with booking strategy, creative, design resource across your proj
ects /accounts, in line with project scope and timelines
- Support AM/AD with post-production workflow across your projects / accounts, managing client feedback rounds, ensuring feedback is captured by creative / post, and supporting with asset delivery, including file naming and QC
FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
- Support AM/AD with the day-to-day financial management of your accounts
GROWTH & NEW BUSINESS
- Support on new business pitches and RFPs
