Job Summary

SO or new hire for Account Executive in UK for RCG segment Market Leadership Executes accounts strategy for long-term profitable growth and positions Cognizant as a thought partner and business leader within the client Demonstrable track record in new business or net new logo sales for a large Tier 1 or Tier 2 GSI Experience of working alongside and building relationships within major Telco HiTech MNVOs and ISVs Experience of working for a Global Services Firm with onshore nearshore

Responsibilities

Experience of working for a Global Services Firm with onshore nearshore and offshore capabilities. Knowledge and experience selling similar Services including Digital Data Cloud Consulting and application modernization Demonstrable success selling deals in the dollor 5 to dollor 50M range. Demonstrable consecutive quarterly Market Leadership Executes accounts strategy for longterm profitable growth and positions Cognizant as a thought partner and business leader within the client Researches and understands the Products and Resources Manufacturing and Automotive Chemicals and Minerals Retail and Consumer Energy and Utilities Travel and Transportation industry. Deeply understands the clients Business and Digital strategies especially where applicable to their portfolio Builds an Account Plan to be reviewed and incorporated into the broader market plan for above industry Executes and manages the account plan through establishing key relationships with business IT and procurement leads within their portfolio Identifies new clients and also qualifies addon opportunities to existing engagements Relationship Management Cultivates longterm client relationships and aims to broaden Cognizants relationship footprint with key clients within the account. Invests time in creating client advocates for Cognizant by going above and beyond in relationship development Participates in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives on key client relationships Business Development Creates opportunities and involves the right teams to position Cognizant credentials assets and value to the client and qualifies prioritises and assigns opportunities to deliver the highest percentage of wins. Responds to and delivers on client requests in an effective and timely manner Identifies opportunities makes proactive proposals to the client in line with the account strategy Drives responses to RFPs taking end to end ownership ensuring the response is compliant with the client and Cognizants processes Engages the relevant teams for solutions and works collaboratively with all of accounts internal and external partners to deliver success
