Account Handler

Angove Partners are working with a leading global insurance broker who are expanding their Corporate Risks team within their Multinational Client Practice. This role will support the placement and servicing of complex multinational accounts, ensuring delivery of excellent client service across new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments. You will work closely with both clients and an international broking network to deliver innovative solutions and ensure programmes are effectively structured and negotiated.

What is the role?

You will be responsible for supporting Senior Brokers with the servicing of complex corporate risks, assisting on all aspects of programme design, placement, and client management, whilst ensuring that service delivery is efficient and compliant.

What will you be doing?

• Work proactively to organise and manage your own workload, ensuring both personal and team objectives are achieved
• Prepare renewal and new business presentations, data capture documents, and market submissions to ensure comprehensive and accurate placement information
• Collate and communicate client requirements to ensure effective marketing of risks to insurers
• Review policy documentation to confirm cover accuracy and prepare supporting documentation such as cover summaries and evidence of cover letters
• Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and provide timely service updates
• Negotiate with underwriters to secure competitive terms that balance coverage, quality, and price
• Support in the management of assigned projects and contribute to wider team initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date records across internal systems and ensure data is accurate to support service delivery and audit requirements
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, sanctions, and company procedures at all times
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders
• Contribute to the overall success of the team by identifying efficiencies, supporting colleagues, and driving high levels of client satisfaction

What do you need to apply to this role?

• Previous experience in a broking, account handling, or client servicing role within the insurance market
• Strong understanding of general insurance principles, products, and regulatory frameworks
• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long-term relationships
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate documentation under pressure
• A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Awareness of market dynamics and competitor landscape
• Progress towards professional qualifications (DipCII/ACII) is advantageous but not essential
