Are you ready to make waves in your career? At Gallagher, we're looking for an Account Handler to join our Marine Trade, Freight & Cargo team in Poole. How You'll Make An Impact
In this role, you'll work closely with our Head of Marine and experienced Account Executives to provide outstanding service to our clients. You'll handle everything from creating documents for new customers to managing renewals and mid-term adjustments. You'll ensure all client details are accurately recorded and explore the best solutions for their needs.
You'll also liaise with insurers and clients to address policy queries, confirm cover, and process documentation. By applying your organisational skills, you'll manage account queries, credit control matters, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory policies. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help us maintain our high standards of service.
About You
- A background in marine or commercial insurance, or experience in a service-led business with a genuine interest in the Marine sector.
- A commitment to achieving or working towards Chartered Insurance Institute qualifications (Cert CII/Dip CII).
- The ability to meet targets within a regulated framework and deliver on service level agreements.
- Strong communication skills to build rapport and explain complex information clearly.
