FILMBANKMEDIA
Filmbankmedia is a joint venture between Warner Bros., Sony Pictures and NT Digital Group (comprising of SWANK Motion Pictures and Spafax).
We are a leader in non-theatrical film distribution, representing many major Hollywood, Bollywood and independent film studios (including Warner Bros., Sony Pictures, Disney, Universal and Paramount) in over 80 international territories.
Filmbankmedia provides licensing for film screenings that take place outside of the cinema and home in environments such as hotels, hospitals, coaches, trains, schools, pubs and bars and care homes etc.
Your New Role...
To maximise sales and margin of all Filmbankmedia products (content & technology) across the company’s existing EMEA Transport, Healthcare, Prisons, Maritime and LATAM STSL customer base, finding long-term value through the building of effective customer relationships alongside a total revenue management approach.
Identify opportunities with existing customer/accounts to generate incremental revenue for Filmbankmedia’s licences across defined digital market sectors.
Formulate and identify value through creative account management in each sector, presenting ideas and presenting them internally together with clear objectives and deadlines to meet financial targets.
Develop and implement effective channel strategies that deliver maximum revenue and profit for Filmbankmedia.
Manage accounts by developing customer relationships that deliver a commercial advantage for Filmbankmedia.
Ensure excellence in all facets of the sales function internally and externally.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Account Strategy & Planning
Support Sales team to develop specific trading strategies and associated plans in line with corporate goals and strategies to achieve customer specific objectives & targets.
Work with the Associate Director and Director of Technology to highlight key growth opportunities for Filmbankmedia technology across existing accounts markets.
Build strong relationships with existing and new customers to create an understanding of their business, customers, competitors and market trends.
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Filmbankmedia teams including; Sales, Servicing, Legal, Marketing, Finance and Technical divisions.
Maintain a broad understanding of key market developments, technologies, competitors, customers and industry issues. Ensure relevant information is communicated to the business in a timely manner.
Licensee/Customer Management
Develop market leading trading strategies that achieve Filmbankmedia objectives, maximising revenue & profit across the existing customer base.
Manage on-going agendas with senior customer contacts to ensure that Filmbankmedia is continually seen as the most progressive supplier of choice for partnership opportunities.
Identify incremental and emerging business opportunities across the existing customer base.
Represent Filmbankmedia at key trade shows.
Evaluate Content Delivery Networks and studio DRM (Digital Rights Management) requirements for early window and/or Home Entertainment window consideration.
Within Customer Management as described above, a priority is currently assigned to Transport, Healthcare, Prisons, Maritime and LATAM STSL clients, although this might vary in the future subject to business needs.
Fiscal Management
Manage budgets to ensure delivery of all objectives for all assigned sectors.
Ensure accountability for timely and accurate forecasts.
Internal Management
Work with the business to ensure clarity and alignment on expectations of deliverables from your sectors and its customers.
Provide recommendations to Senior Management clearly demonstrating the business case and rationale for proposed actions.
Demonstrate commercial awareness both internally and externally, and recommend actions that support the broader Company business agenda.
Liaise with key stakeholders to manage return on investment. Identify priorities and request development funds as required.
Monitor and ensure all systems and relevant inter-departmental information is updated in a timely and effective manner.
Ensure all Company processes and admin requirements are followed appropriately.
Qualifications & Experience...
Proven experience within a licensing & distribution and/or technology sales background.
Has knowledge and understanding of Cloud based distribution networks, including storage, integration, distribution, and means of delivery to platforms and devices.
Strong track record of delivering opportunities with existing accounts in diverse territories and sectors.
Ability to negotiate with people at all levels including internal and external stakeholders.
A proven track record in delivering against sales revenue objectives
Capable of hands on problem-solving, with ability to generate ideas and solutions.
A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities (desktop research, industry websites, LinkedIn, and similar database resources available).
Ability to manage prospective client expectations and keep promises.
