Description

A specialist advisory firm with a focus on crisis preparedness, reputation management and corp comms work is looking for an Account Manager to join their team. Advising international corporates to NGOs and charities who need specialist strategic advice and issues management as well as training and prep to be ready if something was to happen that may impact reputation. Helping them navigate high‑stakes issues such as litigation, investigations, political change, and broader societal pressures.

In this role, you’ll be central to delivering client excellence. You’ll act as the connective force across teams, bringing intellectual curiosity, strong judgement, and a proactive mindset to some of the most complex issues organisations face today. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, start‑up environment that values ideas, creativity, and ambition at every level.

Key Responsibilities

Lead day‑to‑day client relationships and act as a key point of contact.
Build trusted, long‑term relationships with clients.
Support the delivery of strategic counsel across reputational risk, live issues and crisis management, crisis preparedness, and media and political engagement.

Support senior colleagues in managing projects end‑to‑end, from scoping and budgeting to final delivery.

Apply strong commercial understanding of client organisations.

Manage client financials and contribute to overall account profitability.

Support activities such as new business, marketing, and networking.

Demonstrate integrity, credibility, and respect in all interactions.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in corporate communications (agency or in‑house).
Experience in risk, issues, crisis response and/or crisis management, including training and exercises.
Strong understanding of the UK media and/or political landscape.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and team‑working abilities.
Comfortable working in high‑pressure, fast‑paced environments.
Able to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders and build your own network.
Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills.
Self‑starter with confidence to ask questions and raise concerns.

This role is based in central London and hybrid working is three days on site.
