IMG are looking for an experienced Account Manager to lead and support the onboarding of new clients and provide high-level servicing and project delivery across strategic accounts, ensuring excellence in execution and partnership growth, while offering enhanced support to clients requiring additional attention, troubleshooting or cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for strategic clients, delivering high standards of service and building long-term trusted relationships.
  • Lead onboarding processes for new clients and seasonal clients across the sports media portfolio, coordinating internal teams and ensuring seamless handover from commercial/sales to operational delivery.
  • Support priority accounts on an ad hoc basis – stepping in to manage urgent projects, campaigns or new initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and resolve client issues and challenges, ensuring alignment with IMG’s and the clients commercial and strategic goals.
  • Provide agile, high-touch support to clients requiring additional attention or coordination, ensuring swift resolution of challenges and a consistently high standard of service across all accounts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, strategy, analytics, production, marketing, digital, partnership and distribution teams to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Work directly with senior stakeholders across IMG business units to ensure objectives are met on key accounts.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations, client reports and post-event analysis.
  • Produce and manage timelines, action trackers and project summaries across key accounts.
  • Attend meetings, rights-holder workshops and live events to represent IMG and support operational needs.

Knowledge And Experience

  • Proven experience in client servicing, account or partnership management (min. 4 years).
  • Track record of managing and delivering complex client-facing projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the sports industry, preferably within brand partnerships, media rights, content production / distribution, digital or consultancy.
  • Experience working across internal functions to deliver on client needs.
  • Experience with onboarding new clients and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exposure to global markets or international clients.
  • Proven experience in operations and project management within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, preferably in the sports or media industries.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the ability to interpret and apply insights.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills - confident engaging with senior stakeholders internally and client side.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills; ability to manage competing priorities under pressure.

Working Conditions

  • This role will be based at Chiswick Park, with some flexibility on remote working as appropriate
  • May be required to attend (and travel to) locations, including other IMG buildings and meetings
  • Unsocial hours may be required, as dictated by the demands of the business schedule
  • Adapting to use of new systems and technology where appropriate
