A growing, global real assets investor is looking to hire a Junior Accountant (PQ or newly qualified) to support fund and management company accounting, alongside project work linked to the continued scale-up of the platform. The business currently manages over $10bn in assets and is targeting c.50% growth over the next 5-10 years, offering a strong blend of institutional quality and an entrepreneurial, build-out environment.
The role will sit under a high-calibre Head of Finance and offers broad exposure across fund accounting, asset-level performance and investor reporting. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance and transparency across a portfolio of European real estate investment funds, spanning both closed- and open-ended structures. Responsibilities will include preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for funds and SPVs, covering NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions and expense allocations. You will also review third-party administrator reporting, produce investor and lender reporting packs, and support performance analysis including IRR, management fee and carried interest calculations. There will be regular interaction with asset management and investment teams, as well as the opportunity to improve processes and enhance reporting as the business continues to grow.
The firm is keen to speak with candidates with 2–5 years’ experience gained in a similar role within real estate or private equity, either in-house or via audit. A good understanding of fund structures, SPVs and investment vehicles is important, alongside strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting or reporting systems. Just as importantly, candidates should be detail-oriented, proactive and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, transaction-driven environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded, globally connected investment firm with a collaborative culture and clear long-term ambitions. The role offers genuine breadth, strong development and high visibility beyond finance, making it well suited to someone looking to accelerate their career in real assets. This is a newly created position and the firm is flexible on budget, with a salary range of £45k–£70k plus a strong bonus and benefits (including study support if required). The team is London-based and typically office-led, with occasional travel.
