The Role

As an Accounts / Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, with a particular focus on cashiering duties. Working within a collaborative and professional team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring smooth cash flow, and assisting with day-to-day finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling daily cashiering duties, including processing receipts and payments
• Reconciling bank accounts and client monies in line with compliance requirements
• Supporting the preparation of management accounts and reports
• Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting audit requirements
• Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Supporting the wider finance function with ad hoc tasks and projects

About You

• Previous experience in a finance/accounts role (property sector experience desirable)
• Knowledge of or exposure to property management systems (e.g. QUBE, Yardi, Tramps) would be an advantage
• AAT qualified or studying towards AAT (or similar finance qualification) desirable
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proactive approach and willingness to learn
