The Role

As an Accounts Assistant at Safran Electrical & Power you will support the finance team, primarily focussing on delivering credit control and employee expense procedures whilst learning and working with a team of experienced finance professionals for a leading global aerospace group. You will also assist in reconciling customer statements, customer queries, and other ad-hoc accounting tasks as required. This opportunity also allows great exposure and learning within a world class organisation, interacting with both customers and internal stakeholders with capacity for the role to develop further.

• Support the finance team and wider business with day-to-day credit control processes
• Process staff expense claims, ensuring internal policies have been followed and liaising with managers to resolve issues
• Help to resolve parked invoices, liaising with accounts payable team
• Reconcile customer statements and solving customer queries
• Assist with month-end tasks, reporting and reconciliations
• Ad-hoc tasks to assist with accounting
• Strong interaction with all departments and financial teams within the company as well as customers
