Accounts Manager/Financial Controller

At Madden Marine we are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Manager/Financial Controller on a full-time permanent basis to join our team and take control of our financial operations.

In this key role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all the aspects of our accounting functions, from managing daily transactions to preparing financial reports. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Accounts Manager, your role will involve, but not be limited to:

• Manage all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger.
• ​Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• ​Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
• ​Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.

Experience/skills:

• The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).

• Have 3-5 years’ experience, preferably experience gained in a fast-paced Fit-out/manufacturing environment.
• Have experience using Sage accounting software.
• Demonstrate an ability to lead and manage a team, delegating work, supporting team members, coaching, and mentoring when required.
• Be able to work to tight deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.

This is a permanent, full-time role based at Madden Marine headquarters in Mallusk, Newtownabbey.
