Job Description


  • Matching, batching, coding and entering Purchase invoices on One Advanced GL system.
  • Review invoices in line with the delegation matrix.
  • Process Expense claims in line with our Travel & Expenses Policy, SOPs and MPM principles.
  • Organise the weekly BACS payment run.
  • Monitor the accounts mail inbox.
  • Set up new supplier accounts and amend existing supplier details as necessary.
  • Responsible for keeping Standard Operating Procedures up to date.
  • Reconcile transactions and correct any discrepancies.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks/reports requested by senior finance members.


Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable operations and principles.
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of using Excel and One Advanced.
  • Aware of Managing Public Money (MPM) principles.
  • Experience working in a similar position in Regulatory/Financial services.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible, professional, and hard working with a can-do attitude.
  • Key internal relationship with the Finance department and other departments in the organisation including senior members of staff.
  • Key external relationships with our Suppliers, External Auditors, and One Advanced support team
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
