Accounts Payable Manager - Financial Services -18 month FTC

Miryco Consultants is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join a leading asset management firm for a one-year fixed term contract.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with invoice process and payments, as well as improving the overall efficiency of the department.

Responsibilities:

• Process payments according to financial policies and procedures.
• Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Reconcile the AP ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Report any discrepancies to the senior management team.
• Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
• Any ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in finance, accounting, or similar.
• 3+ years previous experience in an AP role
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Great teamworking skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong Excel skills.
