Description

The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Senior to join an established, reputable and growing accountancy firm in Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis.

Schedule: 35 hours per week

You’ll be joining a firm with professional & personal development at its core, in a supportive environment that encourages collaboration and values work-life balance. You will be responsible for clients within the agriculture and landed estates industries and therefore previous experience in this space would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of year-end financial statements
Taking ownership of ad-hoc advisory projects
Review of work prepared by other members of the team & support with training of others in the office
Assisting managers with looking after a large portfolio of accounts and bookkeeping clients
Assisting clients with VAT and bookkeeping queries, including set up and support on accounting systems
Work planning and annual timetabling
Billing and financial management

Requirements:

ACA/ACCA qualified with some prior experience of working in practice
Experience with agricultural and/or landed estate clients

Benefits:

£40,000 - £44,000 per annum
