Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (depending on experience)
Are you a skilled Tendering Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity in the automation industry? or do you have the engineering knowledge and want to combine that with a desire to work with our customers on the front line?
Actemium Automation Nottingham are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team
👷♂️ What You’ll Do:
As a Tendering Engineer at AA Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in our project lifecycle. A customer focused role, you will be assisting the business in creating new tenders, direct sourcing and working collaboratively with the Project Managers.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Client communication: Engage with clients during the tender process, addressing queries and ensuring clarity.
- Cost estimation: Analyze project requirements, evaluate costs, and provide detailed estimates.
- Technical understanding: Understand client specifications and translate them into effective technical proposals.
- Risk assessment: Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Preparing and submitting tenders: Collaborate with our sales and engineering teams to create competitive and accurate tender proposals.
🧠 What you bring:
- Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
- Proven experience in tendering, preferably in automation however open to other engineering projects
- Understanding of Automation in particular, Allen Bradley and Siemens industrial Control Systems
- Attention to detail: ability to analysis complex requirements s and create precise proposals
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to take on new skills & knowledge
