. You will join us on a Full Time, permanent basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary of up to £12.88 Hour

You will be joining the team at The Old Vicarage, a charming 44 bed quality residential home in Clay Cross, Chesterfield offering affordable and high-quality care.
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Acting Senior Care Assistant to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will primarily work as a Care Assistant, providing high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans, while stepping up to fulfil senior duties as required. This includes administering medication, supervising and supporting care staff, maintaining accurate records, and liaising with healthcare professionals. You'll play a key role in promoting the wellbeing and dignity of our residents, ensuring they receive attentive, respectful, and personalised care at all times. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their care career, gaining valuable leadership experience in a supportive and rewarding environment.
You will be given a thorough induction into your role via one of our experienced mentors, while receiving both online and face to face training during this time and throughout your career at Adept Care. Our dedicated Training Manager and Dementia Manager are happy to arrange or support with any additional training you feel you may need to ensure you are supported in reaching your full potential while fulfilling your career ambitions.
About the Night Acting Senior Care Assistant role:
- Pay of £12.88
- 44 hours per a week
- Night Shifts: 19:00 - 07:00
- Alternate Weekend Working Required

What we are looking for;
- NVQ Level 2 in Care (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 in Care (desirable)
- Previous care experience (essential)
- Previous Senior Care experience (desirable)
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
