We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Medical Writing department and the broader Data Sciences group at our Edinburgh site. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment and enjoys managing a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of a busy scientific team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide office administration support for the Edinburgh site, including managing deliveries, handling general enquiries, maintaining office supplies, and supporting staff meetings.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Facilities, IT, HR/Training, and QA to ensure seamless coordination of services.
- Provide administrative support for the preparation and publication of clinical study documents, including protocols and reports.
- Assist with document formatting tasks such as hyperlinking and quality control checks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Support document archivingrelated to clinical trials.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and regulatory guidelines in all administrative processes.
- Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, ideally within a scientific or regulated environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and email platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
