About The Role

As an Administrative Officer at Action for Children, you'll play a vital role in supporting our learning and development initiatives. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home, while collaborating with your team online.

You'll be the first point of contact for queries and requests via e-mail and phone whilst managing a shared mailbox effectively. Collaborating with internal training facilitators and external providers, you’ll coordinate learning events and actively promote these opportunities across the organisation.

Your responsibilities will include monitoring engagement, coordinating participant correspondence, and following up on actions post programme delivery. You'll accurately record learning event details and maintain employee training records on our in-house system Oracle.

We are seeking someone with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a remote environment, while also fostering a collaborative spirit within your team. If you're passionate about learning and development and are excited about helping others grow, we want to hear from you.

  • Experience of a Learning and Development background would be an advantage.
  • The ability to deliver good customer service remotely.
  • You must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.
  • Experience of home or hybrid working would be an advantage as our team do not have an office base.

  • An organised, detailed and keen eye for accuracy, as well as being able to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Intermediate IT Skills across MS Office, along with experience in Oracle software systems is an advantage but not a necessity.
  • Experience of adhering to internal policies, processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of GDPR and acting with integrity and discretion.
  • A professional, yet personable approach and be able to work independently.
