An opportunity has arisen within the Physiotherapy department at Ysbyty Aneurin Bevan for an Administration Team Leader who is highly motivated and has energy, drive, and commitment to their work.
We require someone who has exceptional organisational and communication skills and a friendly, flexible, and professional approach to the service. The post holder must also have excellent time management skills, be self-motivated and proactive.
The post holder will work closely with the physiotherapy service Performance Manager and take key responsibility for waiting list management for the department. Working knowledge of the Myrddin system is essential but additional training can be given.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of developing and managing efficient and accurate administration processes. Excellent computer skills are vital to this post as it provides administrative support to the Physiotherapy Manager in setting up and managing staffing related files and databases.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will have supervisory responsibilities for a small group of admin staff reporting to them including undertaking regular appraisals, sickness management and performance management to ensure the smooth running of the department.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
