Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with significant knowledge and skills in Older Person's Therapy, Stroke/Neurology, and looking for a new challenge in a leadership position?

We are currently seeking maternity leave cover for a Band 8a OT/Physio Pathway Lead in Medicine.
This post offers the opportunity to deliver operational management for a large team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Technicians, service development, and clinical leadership whilst maintaining a clinical role.
You would be responsible for supporting teams within the Older Person's Therapy, Stroke, Neuro-outlier services across Weston General Hospital (WGH) and the Bristol Royal Infirmary (BRI).
The Medicine Therapy Teams are currently undergoing a period of restructure across the BRI and WGH sites. This will include a review of the Pathway Leads in terms of the services they cover and the sites that they are based/work across.
The Post Will
Primarily be based in WGH but may require regular shifts being delivered at BRI depending on the results of the restructure.
Work closely with the Divisional Lead for Therapies, other Pathway Leads and Clinical Specialists within Medicine across BRI, South Bristol Community Hospital and WGH
Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the integrated teams supporting older people and medical neurology patients across both BRI and WGH sites.
They will be the operational line manager for their teams.
They will drive service improvement, innovation and staff skill and knowledge acquisition for the benefit of patients within the pathway.
They will seek opportunities to continuously develop the service in this clinical area to always ensure the delivery of patient-centred care.
