Main duties of the job
- Lead and manage the specialist Occupational Therapy caseload within the CAMHS Eating Disorders Service.
- Assess, plan, deliver and review personalised care with children, young people and their families.
- Deliver and coordinate non-pharmacological occupational therapy interventions to support independence and community living.
- Complete risk assessments and contribute to risk management, promoting positive risk-taking where appropriate.
- Monitor outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain clear, accurate clinical records and reports.
- Contribute to service development, clinical governance, audit and quality improvement.
- Support the training and development of students, staff, carers and service users.
- Work in line with HCPC, RCOT and NICE guidance, maintaining ongoing professional development.
