We are looking for a Agent to join our infrastructure Roads team in Cambridge.

What you'll do:

• Act as Site Agent within the West delivery team, focusing on highways for the A428 improvement scheme.
• Take ownership of the delivery of West highways, ensuring alignment with the overall project programme.
• Collaborate closely with supply chain partners to coordinate timely and efficient delivery of subcontracted works.
• Identify programme risks early and develop alternative solutions considering cost, schedule, and broader project impacts.
• Lead a team comprising a Sub Agent and Engineers, each managing specific disciplines within the section.
• Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of structural works.
• Demonstrate strong programme management and coordination across multiple construction disciplines.
• Report to and receive support from the Sectional Construction Manager.
  
  

What you'll bring to the role:

• Hold a degree or HND in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years working history on major highways infrastructure schemes.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and temporary works.
• Familiar with NEC4 contracts and digital tools (MS Office 365, document control systems).
• SMSTS certified with a valid CSCS Card.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Working towards or holding a professional qualification (e.g., IEng, CEng).
