AI Engineer

We are looking for an AI engineer to help us build innovative solutions leveraging cutting edge GenAI and Machine Learning technologies. This role will suit anyone excited to work at the intersection of finance, technology and AI and will give you an opportunity to work at the forefront of a fast-moving, high-impact space.

The Team

Working within our Machine Learning Technology team, you will help build our core AI platform as well as partner with investment teams to create AI agents that augment, automate and ultimately transform our systematic and discretionary investment workflows.

Key Competencies

Essential

• Demonstrable enthusiasm for AI engineering and Machine Learning
• Excellent software engineering skills with a strong knowledge of Python
• A keen interest and understanding of financial markets and instruments
• Relevant mathematical knowledge e.g. statistics, optimisation algorithms, linear algebra.

Advantageous

• Experience using GenAI to build agentic, knowledge processing, or automated coding tools
• Experience training or fine-tuning generative models
• Experience building tools and technologies within systematic or discretionary investing units
