AI Governance Manager - Insurance

Lawrence Harvey is exclusively representing a leading global insurance company in their hunt for an AI Governance Manager. This role is based in London 3 days a week reporting to the Head of Privacy.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, policies, and procedures in partnership with other departments
• Conduct due diligence on internal and third-party AI systems for regulatory and ethical compliance.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to AI models, including bias, fairness, security, and data privacy.
• Advise on AI data management practices and standards.
• Provide training and education on ethical AI use and governance.
• Prepare reports for leadership on AI governance activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience in AI Governance, background in privacy, compliance or governance.
• Extensive knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR, OECD AI Principles.
• Experience building and implementing governance frameworks.
• Global experience EU, US, and UK.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
