THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive Export Supervisor to join our Air Freight team, working at one of our busiest locations in Hounslow. You will lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring all outbound shipments are completed in a safe and timely manner, with a focus on supporting the manager with employee performance and implementing process improvements. The role is on a part time basis, 24 hours per week working on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to support peak times.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
As the Export Supervisor, you be at the heart of the action. Making sure all our day to day export tasks run smoothly, stay compliant and deliver great experience for our customers. You will help drive smarter, more efficient ways of working and be the go to person when the team or our customers need extra support.
In this key role, you will build strong relationships across the business and with our customers, helping us deliver great service. You will work with teams and managers to spot opportunities to improve how we operate and review performance. You will lead a team of operational staff, creating a positive, high performing culture where people feel supported, motivated and encouraged to do their best work.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
To be successful in your application you will currently be working within an air freight operation, ideally in a supervisory role able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of import and export operations.
You will have excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as strong communication skills with the ability to problem solve and provide cost effective and innovative solutions.
