About The Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Import Coordinator to join our busy Heathrow office. This role requires a proactive, organised, and customer-focused individual with strong knowledge of import procedures and customs compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the import process from start to finish.
• Complete customs procedures accurately and on time to meet internal and regulatory deadlines.
• Liaise with customers, internal teams, and third parties to ensure all necessary information is communicated effectively.
• Resolve minor customer issues, disputes, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Ensure documentation is accurate, up to date, and correctly uploaded into the system.
• Support the team during periods of absence or holidays.
• Attend customer meetings and identify opportunities to promote additional services.
• Assist with training and knowledge sharing across the team.
• Meet tight deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the import function.
• Perform other duties as required for the smooth and efficient operation of the department.
  
  

Required Skills & Experience

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong working knowledge of ASM Sequoia and CargoWise systems.
• Solid experience with:
• Home Use / CFSP / Warehousing / Bonds / T1's / NCTS
• Incoterms and freight rate calculations
• Profiles and rate structures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
