Amenity Technical Sales Representative – Scotland & North East England


This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional looking for a hands-on, field-based role building relationships, providing expert advice, and growing business across a key territory.


We are looking for an Amenity Technical Sales Representative to join the commercial team. Covering Scotland and the North East of England, you’ll be supporting sports grounds, councils, golf courses, schools, contractors, and distributors across the region.


Key Responsibilities

As Technical Sales Representative, you will:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of customers in the amenity sector.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term partnerships.
  • Provide tailored technical advice and seed recommendations based on site needs and performance.
  • Deliver on sales targets and contribute to territory growth.
  • Attend trade shows, demonstration days, and industry events to represent the business.


This is a field-based position that requires a passionate sales professional with strong communication skills and the drive to work autonomously. Regular travel and some overnight stays will be part of the role.


Key Requirements

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in sales, ideally within the amenity, agriculture, or horticulture sectors.
  • An excellent communicator with strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • A full, clean UK driving licence holder.


Desirable extras include a knowledge of grass seed products, turf care, or landscaping solutions, an established network in the industry, and experience with tendering processes.


Remuneration

  • Base salary up to £50k, plus performance-related bonus scheme.
  • Company car and excellent pension contributions.
