The Role:
I am representing a leading Private Equity firm in their search for an Analyst/Associate level candidate in their Real Estate Capital Markets team.
This individual will join an elite and highly collaborative environment - responsible for the evaluation of optimal financing structures to support the investments of the Real Estate and Infrastructure teams, in addition to strengthening relationships with Joint Venture Partners, existing and new Lenders, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Support the assessment and structuring of financing solutions and risk management strategies in collaboration with the broader investment function.
- Assist in negotiating debt documentation, credit agreements and wider and key commercial terms alongside legal advisors and capital providers.
- Help nurture and expand relationships with existing and prospective lenders across relevant sectors.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of debt market conditions and trends in designated geographies or industries.
- Oversee workstreams related to transaction execution and ensure alignment with internal governance processes.
- Track loan covenant compliance and contribute to periodic reviews of portfolio-level leverage.
- Prepare briefing materials and strategic presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Coordinate ongoing reporting requirements and support stakeholder communications
Requirements:
- Exceptional academic background, ideally with a focus on finance, accounting, or banking.
- Prior exposure to real estate debt financing, capital markets, loan syndication, or structured finance is preferred, even if at an early stage.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of financing structures and an ability to articulate complex or abstract concepts in a concise and accessible way.
- Highly proficient in financial modelling, with strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Comfortable working under pressure, managing multiple high-priority deadlines, and adapting quickly to shifting project demands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident presentation style.
- Analytical and solutions-oriented, with a collaborative approach to working in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and delivery-focused, with a preference for dynamic, fast-paced settings.
- Advanced user of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg is advantageous.
- Fluency in a European language desirable
