Position Overview
The Global Mobility Analyst is a key team member supporting the day-to-day execution and delivery of the Apollo's Global Mobility strategy. The Global Mobility Analyst should exhibit solid understanding of the role Global Mobility team plays within a financial services environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to involve themselves in a variety of different projects and workstreams across the Global Mobility program. Given the entrepreneurial culture of the firm, the individual must be prepared to “roll up their sleeves” on a variety of tasks across all levels of the Global Mobility team's scope and breadth, providing direct support to the Global Mobility lead on activities spanning the end-to-end global mobility life cycle. The Global Mobility Analyst will support the Global Mobility lead providing coverage for Apollo’s Global Mobility business on a global basis from London.
Primary Responsibilities
- Partnering closely with the Global Mobility lead to support day-to-day execution of core Global Mobility processes
- Supporting case management throughout the Global Mobility life cycle, including conducting move briefings, creating cost estimates, initiating vendors, ensuring documentation execution and maintaining immigration compliance
- Partnering with Human Capital Business Partners on Global Mobility related requirements
- Working closely with key stakeholders across Apollo's Payroll, Tax, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Workplace Solutions teams on all aspects of Global Mobility related activity
- Acting as key user of core Global Mobility related technology platforms including Workday, Apollo’s HRIS system, and external vendor technology platforms
- Supporting special projects across Global Mobility, bringing innovative thinking, creativity, and an analytical mindset to all workstreams and activities
Qualifications & Experience
- 2-5 years of Global Mobility experience an in-house Global Mobility function, consultancy, or other related role; Financial Services experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or professional qualification from a top institution with a record of academic achievement
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and rigorous work environment; demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
- Strong initiative and ownership of responsibilities; must exhibit a proactive, positive attitude towards given tasks, effectively balancing multiple workstreams via planning ahead for potential issues and taking appropriate action to resolve roadblocks
- Exemplary interpersonal skills; ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations with tact and diplomacy
- Strong analytical skills and mindset; keen ability to leverage data to tell a story and make informed recommendations
- Exercises good judgment and operates with the highest level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions and situations
