Role Summary
Alongside the Institute’s Advisory and Strategy and Partnerships divisions, the Policy and Politics division serves an important role for the Institute. The division generates analysis that shapes public debate, enhances the work of client governments, and supports partnerships which improve people’s lives. Our work is global in nature, but we also develop individual national strategies, including our flagship Future of Britain programme.
The Science & Technology Policy team develops radical, actionable policy solutions for how governments can foster R&D and innovation, accelerate technology adoption, and govern emerging technologies. In doing so, we help governments across the world harness the power of technology in effective and responsible ways.
The postholder will be responsible for conducting research and analysis in science and technology policy. They will formulate clear policy recommendations and, under supervision, be responsible for forming and managing stakeholder relationships and represent the organization externally across key policy areas.
