The Role:

Our platform is experiencing explosive growth and requires ongoing architecture upgrades to handle the ever increasing complexity, all while delivering new features at a rapid pace. As an Analytics Engineer you will be responsible for refining our data strategy and process requirements ensuring we stay on track with our company OKRs and Goals. We’re looking for a talented and ambitious individual looking for hard challenges and a rewarding career in a fast growing company with unicorn ambitions and a killer product. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and refine data, analytics, and process requirements, ensuring they align with the company’s strategic goals
• Convert business needs into clear, actionable specifications and work closely with software&data engineers build scalable and effective solutions
• Drive process development and optimisation within a data-driven environment, identifying opportunities for efficiency and innovation
• Leverage both analytical and data science expertise to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets, supporting financial institutions in making informed decisions
• Balance multiple priorities while fostering strong relationships with clients and internal teams, contributing to a collaborative and high-impact culture

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Computer Science/Maths/Physics or similar discipline
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Excel and data visualisation tools; hands-on experience with Python analytics libraries (eg pandas, polars, pyspark) and Jupyter notebooks for data exploration.
• Someone who loves coding and complex problem solving
• Experience with data visualisation tools (eg Tableau, Quicksight, or similar), as well as working knowledge of data modeling and ETL best practices is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant, broad software engineering/finance experience — prior experience working as part of a growth-focused team is a plus
• Experience using big data technologies in cloud environments to build data pipelines (e.g. Spark, EMR, Lambda etc.)
• Familiarity with git-based workflows and CI/CD processes is a plus
• Excellent communication, organisation and prioritisation skills, and have a strong ability to deliver results within tight timelines
• Passionate to work with small&medium sized enterprises (SMEs) - these are our clients!
• Prior experience worked in top tier financial companies in analytical roles is a bonus
