Role Summary and Impact
In this role, you will have an opportunity to apply all these skills and be at the forefront of cutting-edge digital analytics work. You will be joining a team dedicated to identifying new ways to leverage machines and optimise our campaign in real-time using programmatic customisable algorithms and other media tools. This is a new problem in the industry without any existing solutions that can be re-purposed and hence requires creative thinking along with a strong grasp of technical and statistical knowledge, particularly machine learning.
What we need from you
- Basic statistics (significance testing, correlation analysis, confidence intervals, descriptive statistics)
- Experiment Design (sample size*, power*, randomization*, matched market)
- Neural Networks - Linear, convolutional and Recurrent NN. While the expectation is not to know these neural network approaches, you would be expected to learn and pick them up on the job
- Gain a good understanding of various Google Cloud products and be able to handle complex data manipulations and transfers at scale (we work almost exclusively on the cloud leveraging VMs and Google cloud services)
- Basic foundational knowledge of Python and willing to learn quickly and become an advanced user
- Strong grasp of SQL
- Ability to think creatively to new problems with the right business context in mind (we are solving an industry first problem and hence have no access to existing solutions)
- Self-dependent - own and drive parts of a project. Set and adhere to your own timelines
- Be able to articulate results with business implications via Gdocs
- Produce POVs, 1-pagers, vendor evaluation and assessments
