This 12-month maternity cover role sits within the Group Anti-Piracy team, which works to make Sky’s content unavailable to pirates and pirated content unattractive to consumers. The role focuses on disrupting pirate monetisation by managing strategic and operational activities in advertising and payments.
You will lead initiatives across Sky territories (UK, Germany, and Italy), directly influence external industry stakeholders, and continue scaling up high-impact programmes already underway. This role will report into the Anti-Piracy Group Lead, Advertising & Payment Strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Build on current Group processes to develop data led strategies to address the monetisation of pirate domains
- Lead and expand payment disruption efforts: Drive Sky’s strategy to prevent pirate websites from taking payments, including direct engagement with payment service providers (VISA, Mastercard, PayPal, acquirers, gateways, and crypto exchanges).
- Manage and grow advertising disruption operations: Collaborate with City of London police and lead Sky’s process for IWL (Infringing Website List) submissions. Manage our monthly exclusion list and help shape our response to ad-tech threats.
- Enhance reporting and analytics: Produce monthly and quarterly performance reports on payment and advertising interventions, identifying key trends and opportunities.
- Drive cross-Group collaboration: Oversee the coordination of Sky Group teams across regions, aligning workflows and facilitating knowledge-sharing.
- Continually improve: Identify and implement process efficiencies (including detection of automation opportunities), vendor consolidations, and new data insights to maximise impact and value.
- Champion Sky’s values in all external engagements and contribute to enhancing Sky’s industry credibility.
What You'll Bring
- Proactive problem-solving and operational agility, with the ability to work independently at pace.
- Confidence in external relationship management, particularly with senior partners or industry groups.
- Data-driven approach, with experience analysing and optimising data touchpoints.
- Experience in digital payments and/or digital advertising environments, ideally involving fraud, compliance, or anti-piracy challenges is a plus.
