Description

Apparel Graphic Designer

The Brand

A fast-growing British streetwear brand is looking for an Apparel Graphic Designer to join its in-house design team in Manchester.

Founded as a small direct-to-consumer label and built through social media and community engagement, the brand has grown into a multi-million-pound premium streetwear business operating across menswear, womenswear, and accessories. Positioned between high street and luxury, the brand is known for elevated streetwear staples, coordinated jersey sets, and strong graphic identity.

With recent expansion into premium retail and a growing international presence, the business is entering its next phase of growth and investing heavily in design talent to elevate product and strengthen brand identity.

The design team works across multiple seasonal drops each year, with a strong focus on building complete outfits and collections rather than standalone pieces.

The Role

This is a newly created role

and a key hire for the design team.

The Apparel Graphic Designer will take ownership of evolving the brand’s graphic handwriting, bringing fresh energy to jersey, sweats, and graphic-led product categories. Working closely with the Head of Design and wider apparel teams, this role will help redefine the brand’s graphic direction while maintaining its commercial edge.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing seasonal graphics across menswear and womenswear
  • Driving new logo concepts, placements, and graphic narratives
  • Elevating the brand’s jersey and tracksuit categories
  • Developing print, embroidery, and surface design concepts
  • Working closely with suppliers to ensure high-quality execution across production
  • Understanding and implementing screen printing and garment decoration techniques
  • Contributing to collection storytelling and drop strategies

This role will have a high level of creative autonomy and will play a major role in shaping how the brand evolves visually.

The Person

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded Graphic Apparel Designer with strong experience working within fashion brands.

They will bring a clear graphic point of view, strong taste, and the ability to translate cultural trends into wearable, commercially successful product.

Key qualities include:

  • Experience designing graphics for streetwear, jersey, or casual apparel
  • A strong eye for branding, typography, and graphic storytelling
  • Knowledge of garment printing techniques and supplier communication
  • Ability to design graphics that work both creatively and commercially
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced drop calendar
  • Confident collaborating with apparel designers across product categories
  • A proactive personality who thrives in founder-led, entrepreneurial environments

This role would particularly suit someone who understands the premium streetwear space, with awareness of brands such as Represent, Cole Buxton, and other contemporary labels shaping the category.

For the right designer, this is an opportunity to own and evolve the graphic identity of a rapidly growing fashion brand and play a key role in its next stage of growth.
