  • Serve as a secondary subject matter expert for SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams and the use of AI within the Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Own the technical direction of the applications you are responsible for, ensuring alignment with the Technology roadmap, business strategy and user needs. Stay informed of product updates, upgrades, and roadmap developments, ensuring optimal use of the software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating to third-line support or vendors where necessary.
  • Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, including new features, upgrades, maintenance tasks and defect resolution.
  • Participate in or lead agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.

Stakeholder and Vendor Engagement

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal users, procurement, support teams, engagement and software vendors for the applications you are responsible for.
  • Engage regularly with application stakeholders and users to ensure they are informed of progress and change, and to monitor and improve user experience.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including coordinating support cases, overseeing service levels, and negotiating enhancements or customisations.
  • Work closely with the internal Problem Management team.

Cybersecurity and Risk

  • Ensure applications comply with internal and external security policies and best practices.
  • Implement controls to safeguard application data, access, and integration points.
  • Participate in audits, risk assessments, and business continuity planning as it relates to the applications you are responsible for.
