Application Engineer (Contract) - Transition Support

6 month contract

£550-700/day (outside IR35)

London/remote (hybrid, 2 days week in the office)

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage incoming application support requests and queues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Provide hands-on administration and support for enterprise applications (e.g., OKTA, Atlassian Suite, AD, M365, Slack/Teams).
• Assist with application integrations, authentication, and access management.
• Support automation workflows (e.g., Scriptrunner, Powershell, Nintex) and help maintain cloud-based services (e.g., AWS/Azure).
• Collaborate with IT and Business Unit teams to ensure business continuity, system reliability, and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong experience (7+ years) in application management, operations, and administration.

• Familiarity with identity and access management (OKTA) and enterprise integrations.
• Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket) and collaboration platforms (Teams/Slack).
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS/Azure) and automation workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot, prioritize, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
