Working seamlessly together with the Service Delivery Coordinators and other resources across organizational boundaries to ensure all aspects and constraints of the applications are understood and have been considered.
As Applications Engineer, DCF, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process
- Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to understand the client’s well construction or production objectives as well as the commercial terms for Baker Hughes (i.e. outcome based contract, line item contract, etc.)
- Performing offset job analysis and product/service specific engineering modelling calculations to understand application hazards and incident potential
- Working together with all disciplines and stakeholders to ensure all aspects and constraints of the application and suggested products/services have been considered
- Designing a job program, including risk mitigation plans and contingency plans, that can meet the client’s objective(s), maximize revenue potential and ensure future job assignments for Baker Hughes
- Working with the assigned Service Delivery Coordinator/Salesperson to ensure any risk of not meeting the client’s objective is communicated to the client using the appropriate channels/processes for the respective client
- Documenting any calculations/simulations/plan revision and/or changes during the project cycles for visibility to dependent teams and audit purposes
- Providing on-demand support in accordance with product portfolio or on-call schedule for job execution
- Comparing job as-planned versus job as-executed, document any lessons learned and develop recommendations for further improvements to procedures to ensure continuous improvement takes place
- Working on Field Incidents related to products/services
- Participating in Inc Project Administrator The purpose of this role is to co-ordinate and deliver all required aspects of customer interaction for HGI including administration and delivery of current maintenance contracts and named key accounts and general customer support for all key and standard accounts.

As a Project Administrator, you will be responsible for :
- Proactively managing existing and future installation and maintenance contracts
- Resolving customer issues and queries.
- Offering face-to-face, telephone and email customer support and advice including some out of hours support as required on a rota basis
- Managing the demand for required stock and service parts
- Providing support for engineers, sub-contractors & suppliers as required
- Ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Maintaining and updating project schedules; resolve issues and control resources and deliverables, including third party involvement.
- Proactive planning and management of jobs, projects and aftersales contracts
- Ensuring clear communication to ensure processes are followed and deadlines met.
- Delivery of detailed reports, trends, concerns and customer feedback as required by the business or to meet customer requirements.
- Preparation of documentation for customers as required
- Supporting the team as required.
- Maintaining systems whereby others can track your work so that in the event of your absence, customers continue to receive good service
- Managing the adherence to the Baker Hughes Invoicing Process

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience of working in a Customer Support / Parts environment is preferred (but not essential)
- Experience and understanding of ERP systems is preferred (but not essential)
- Candidates who have worked in other industries with transferable skills will be considered
- University degree not required
- GCSE level Maths, English, etc to a good grade (C or above) will suffice
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to complete work accurately and on time with excellent attention to detail
- Good data manipulation and analytics skills
- Should have permanent work permit in U.K
